On line product subscriptions
On line product subscriptions are valid for one year from the time of activation and are not refundable. Access from multiple different locations is allowed however subscriptions are for a single user login at any one time.
Institutional subscribers.
An individual subscription will be required for each user simultaneously accessing our online content. For most EDs, up to 3 licences should be sufficient. For security reasons, the initial login for each subscription must occur from within the institution. If, at any time, individuals use an institutional password from locations outside the site of main use, this is considered a breach of the licensing agreement. The institution may be locked out of the website and unable to access it’s content for a number of days, therefore institutions need to be aware of the consequences of password sharing or unlicensed use by their users.
Due to the above, the standard subscription type is not suitable for larger institutions (e.g. Hospitals, Libraries, networked information services etc). Please contact us to obtain a quote for alternative access arrangements.
Your username and password must not be shared with others. If there is good evidence that others are using your login details to access the product, you will be contacted and your future access may be restricted.
Following your payment, manual activation of your subscription is required. This usually only takes a few days. We reserve the right to deny subscription access to any person or organisation who we believe has breached this agreement. Should this be required, we will fully refund any money paid on a pro-rata basis from the time of subscription denial.
The discounted rate for online version access when purchased with a book is only valid for the first year of the subscription. After one year standard subscription rates will apply.
